Honda Dealer Incentives



The dealer incentives for Honda on average change from month to month. The deals are either factory to dealer, which are not usually advertised and the dealer can keep as profit or show as a discount to the customer and factory to consumer which are normally advertised.

The factory to consumer are easy Honda discounts to obtain, the discounts which are the ones to help you achieve an extraordinary deal are the factory to dealer. These incentives will come in various forms such as cash back, loyalty dollars, finance or lease rates. All vehicles in Honda's line-up do not necessarily qualify or have deals applied to them. Also some incentives are participated in by the dealers themselves. *This means that the factory may advertise an incentive as $1000.00 gas card/cash back although they are only contributing $500.00. The other $500.00 comes from the profit margin of the dealership. Remember to keep this in mind when you are negotiating.

Retail Credits: An amount of cash applied as dealer incentives/Honda discounts because you used your own financing

Advertised Rates: The interest rates that are advertised

Effective Rates: The actual interest rates being used

Standard Bank Rate: The interest rates available at other financial lending institutions
